Qualifications

• Working towards APA qualification and CIP qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role or on phones is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Phone-based first notification of loss calls.
• Investigating, validating and settling property damage claims.
• Negotiating fair settlements within company standards.
• Liaise with customers, brokers, service providers and claimants.
• Taking ownership to resolve all inquiries and deliver focused service.
• Reviews and finalises claims within authority limits.
• Gathering evidence to assess claim value and spot fraud indicators.
• Adheres to regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim.
• Working as part of a team to meet service levels with customer focus.
• Participating in ad hoc duties to support management.
