Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our Allcare O'Reilly's pharmacy in Coolock. This is an 8-hour, permanent role with a small team and a busy dispensary environment.

You will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist, ensuring accurate preparation and dispensing of medicines while managing stock and claims efficiently. Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply, with experience in a busy dispensary and familiarity with McLernons MPS considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required by the store.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare O'Reilly's pharmacy in Coolock, This is an 8-hour (1 day) permanent position. The team currently comprises an Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 2 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.
