Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Technician to join our team across multiple stores in Mounttown, Stillorgan, Dalkey, Merrion, Monkstown and Glasthule. This 40-hour, five-day permanent role offers competitive hourly rates and benefits.

You will prepare and dispense medicinal products under pharmacist supervision, manage stock and blister packs, and support a busy dispensary with accuracy and care. Newly qualified technicians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous; applicants with new qualifications are welcome.
• Familiarity with the McLernons MPS system is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required by store.
• Prepare blister packs and process/track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

The responsibilities of the role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
