Job summary

Tony Walsh Allcare Pharmacy in Merrion is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour permanent position. You will prepare and dispense medicines under the Pharmacist's supervision, ensuring accuracy and care. The role includes stock control, blister pack prep, and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome, with experience preferred but not required. Benefits include competitive hourly rates, a colleague discount, and the bike-to-work scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in Tony Walsh Allcare Pharmacy, in Merrion.

This is a 40-hour permanent position.

The team currently comprises a Store Manager, 1 Relief Pharmacist, 1 Technician and 5 Healthcare Advisors.

This store has manageable items and services.
