Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Artane, Dublin, seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour, 5-day permanent role. The store operates with a small team and a manageable workload in a supportive setting.

You will assist under supervision of the Pharmacist, dispense medicines, manage stock, prepare blister packs, and handle claims processing. Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is preferred.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required.
• Prepare blister packs and process/track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare O'Reillys, in Artane.

This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position.

The team currently comprise s an Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist,1 Relief, and 1 Technicians.

This store has manageable items and services.

The Responsibilities Of The Role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
