Job summary

Uniphar, through Allcare O'Reillys in Artane, invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician on a 40-hour, five-day week. The team currently includes a Supervising Pharmacist and a Technician and offers a friendly, efficient dispensary environment.

You will prepare and dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock, and assist with blister packs and claims, while upholding accuracy and compassionate service. New entrants are welcome; relevant courses like IPU are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare O'Reillys, in Artane. This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position. The team currently comprises an Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist,1 Relief, and 1 Technician. This store has manageable items and services.
