Allcare CGH Bannagher in Offaly seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a 32-hour, four-day contract. You will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medicines with care, accuracy, and professional service.

The role offers an opportunity to contribute to stock control, blister packing, and processing claims, with a friendly team and competitive hourly rates, uniform provided, and employee discounts.

Qualificações

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or higher certificate is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare CGH Bannagher store in Offaly.

This is a 32-hour (4-day) Specified Purpose position.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist and 1 Technician.

This store has manageable items and services.

The responsibilities of the role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
