Job summary

Uniphar Group in Dublin is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join Allcare O'Reillys in Artane. The role is a 40-hour, five-day permanent position within a busy dispensary.

You will prepare and dispense medicines under a Pharmacist's supervision, manage stock levels, and assist with blister packs and claims processing. Experience with McLernons MPS is beneficial and new qualified technicians are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensing environment is advantageous; newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare O'Reillys, in Artane.

The team currently comprise s an Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist,1 Relief, and 1 Technicians.

The responsibilities of the role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.

• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
