Job summary

Excel Recruitment in Ireland is seeking a highly energetic Business Development Manager to drive new business in the B2B sector and secure long-term partnerships. Reporting to the Growth Director, the role focuses on hunting opportunities, opening doors and delivering revenue growth across Ireland.

You will join a commercially ambitious team with exposure to outsourced services and multiple sectors, supported by a Growth VP and Operations VP.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B business development, sales or new business acquisition.
• Strong track record of opening doors, winning contracts and delivering revenue growth.
• Excellent relationship-building, networking and negotiation skills.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Experience managing sales pipelines, proposals, tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Proactive, resilient and results-driven with a passion for winning business.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across Ireland.
• Open doors, generate leads and build relationships with key decision-makers.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified new business opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to tender, negotiation and contract win.
• Lead client presentations, proposals and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with Growth and Operations to deliver revenue targets and create commercially attractive solutions.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and build long-term strategic partnerships.
