Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, seeks a Logistics Administrator to ensure stock movements are recorded accurately and paperwork flows between internal teams and third‑party hauliers. You will coordinate stock entries, communicate with sales and procurement, and manage logistics documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering data.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
• Clear, confident communication skills, both on the phone and by email.
• The ability to stay organised and prioritise in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Booking stock in and out on our ERP system accurately, so stock records are reliable.
• Communicating with internal sales and procurement teams on stock movements.
• Liaising with external third-party hauliers on collections and deliveries.
• Managing and filing logistics paperwork, keeping records organised and easy to find.
• Supporting the wider logistics operation with general administrative tasks as required.
