Job summary

Sunblink Ltd-GRN in Ballybofey, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to own inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and support procurement planning across raw materials, packaging and finished goods.

You will maintain accurate stock records, reconcile stock movements in the ERP system, and help optimise replenishment to prevent production delays and waste. The role is Monday–Friday, with standard hours and benefits.

Stock Controller

€37,500 - €45,000 + Monday to Friday + Benefits

Are you an experienced Stock Controller who enjoys keeping an operation organised, accurate and ready for production? Perhaps you're looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership of inventory, work closely with suppliers and make a direct impact on how a busy manufacturing operation runs?

Joining a food manufacturing business that is recruiting due to growth, you will play a key role in managing raw materials, packaging and finished goods at the Ballybofey site.

This is a practical, detail-focused role where you'll work closely with Procurement, Planning and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when production needs them.

You'll keep stock records accurate, coordinate incoming deliveries and investigate discrepancies. Just as importantly, you'll understand how reliable stock information, effective replenishment and good stock rotation help prevent production delays, minimise waste and maintain traceability.

Working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, this is an opportunity to bring your stock control experience into a role that combines inventory management, supplier coordination and procurement planning support.

The Role:

• Monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging and finished goods
• Support procurement planning by reviewing stock availability, usage, production requirements and open purchase orders
• Identify replenishment requirements and communicate these to Procurement and Planning
• Coordinate incoming deliveries with suppliers, transport providers, warehouse staff and internal teams
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery dates, quantities, specifications and any delivery or quality issues
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and documentation, reporting shortages, damage and discrepancies
• Complete stock checks and reconciliations, accurately recording stock movements in the ERP system
• Investigate stock variances, maintain stock rotation and minimise waste and obsolescence
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, traceability and Health & Safety standards
• Support audits and continuous improvement across stock control, procurement planning and warehouse operations

You will need:

• Experience in stock control, inventory management, supply chain or warehouse operations, preferably within food manufacturing or FMCG
• Experience coordinating deliveries and liaising with suppliers
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, purchase orders and goods-in processes
• An understanding of food safety and traceability requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy, with the ability to maintain reliable stock records
• Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work to deadlines and flexibility to work overtime when required
• A qualification in supply chain management, logistics or a related field, forklift driving experience, or experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement would be advantageous.

What you will receive:

• €37,500 - €45,000 salary
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with flexibility for overtime when required
