Job summary

DB Recruitment in Dublin is seeking an IT Vendor Manager with strong Operations, Service Delivery and Stakeholder Management experience to oversee ITIL processes and vendor performance.

This role is 3-4 days a week onsite, with responsibilities spanning ERP & EPOS technologies, IT infrastructure, and budget management across the IT function.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT leadership or senior IT operations experience.
• Experience implementing ITIL-based service management.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage ITIL processes for efficient IT service management.
• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure value and performance.
• Drive operational excellence by evaluating and improving processes, technologies, and vendor performance.
• Provide training to staff on software and hardware usage and support.
• Manage incident response and resolution.
• Collaborate with technology teams to influence the group’s technology direction.
• Liaise with architects to align digital solutions with divisional strategy.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for operations, infrastructure, projects and service delivery.
• Oversee IT budgets and vendor spend, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
• Manage IT projects from initiation through delivery within budget.

Job description

We are seeking an IT Vendor Manager with strong Operations, Service Delivery and Stakeholder Management experience for a top company in Dublin.

3-4 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage ITIL processes to ensure efficient and effective IT service management.
• Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring optimal service delivery and value for business needs.
• Drive operational excellence by continuously evaluating and improving processes, technologies, and vendor performance.
• Enhance customer service by providing training to employees on software and hardware usage, troubleshooting issues, and offering technical support as needed.
• Manage incident response and resolution, ensuring timely and effective handling of IT-related issues.
• Collaborate with group-wide technology teams to contribute to the overall technology direction
• Liaise with architects to develop digital solutions that support and align with the divisional strategy.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for operations, infrastructure, projects, and service delivery to measure performance and identify areas for efficiency.
• Manage the overall IT budget and vendors, ensuring alignment with budget expectations.
• Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Your experience:

• Strong understanding of IT domains
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• 8+ years of experience in IT leadership or a similar role
• Experience with ERP & EPOS technologies
• Proven experience delivering IT solutions in a complex, cross-functional environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and architecture.
• Experience working within an ITIL-aligned IT service management framework.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
