Job summary

Software Placements seeks an experienced Infrastructure Delivery Manager for a global financial services client based in Dublin. The role spans enterprise infrastructure, workplace technologies, governance, and vendor management to ensure security, compliance and service excellence.

The candidate will bridge technology, operations, and service management, with hands-on knowledge across datacenter tech, AD, Intune, and endpoint management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Management, or Service Delivery.
• Strong knowledge across multiple infrastructure domains.
• Experience managing outsourced service providers.
• Vulnerability management and patch governance experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and End User Computing environments.
• Experience operating in ITIL-based support organizations.

Our client is a global financial services company based in Dublin.

Role

My client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Delivery Manager with broad technical expertise across enterprise infrastructure and workplace technologies. This role is responsible for the operational delivery, governance, vendor management, and continuous improvement of core infrastructure services, ensuring stability, security, compliance, and service excellence across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a strong technical all-rounder with the ability to bridge technology, operations, service management, and vendor governance. They will possess a solid understanding of datacenter technologies, endpoint management, operating systems, workplace platforms, vulnerability management, and IT service management practices.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Service Delivery

• Own and manage the delivery of enterprise infrastructure services.
• Ensure operational stability, performance, availability, and continuous improvement of infrastructure platforms.
• Drive service improvements through operational metrics, reporting, and trend analysis.

Datacenter Infrastructure

• Oversee datacenter infrastructure services including compute, storage, virtualization, backup, and networking components through our Service Provider.
• Support capacity planning and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Active Directory & Endpoint Management

• Understand Active Directory services, Intune, identity integration, Group Policy, and directory services governance.
• Oversee Microsoft Intune and endpoint management platforms.
• Ensure platform standards and hardening requirements are maintained.

Workplace Technology Platforms

• Manage workplace platforms supporting end-user productivity and collaboration.
• Work closely with support teams to ensure service quality and user experience.

Must-Have Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Infrastructure Management, or Service Delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple infrastructure domains.
