Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an IT Vendor Relationship Manager to join a hybrid team and strengthen relationships with third-party technology suppliers in a regulated environment.

You will manage supplier lifecycles, monitor performance, and coordinate governance across Technology, Risk and Procurement, while supporting audits and risk reviews to ensure resilience and effective reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Vendor/Supplier Management, Procurement or Third-Party Risk.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supporting the supplier lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of supplier risk and governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of third-party technology suppliers and build strong, productive relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, contracts and agreed service levels.
• Coordinate supplier governance, service and operational review meetings.
• Support the full supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, ongoing monitoring and offboarding.
• Review supplier risk documentation, controls and assurance evidence.
• Support Third-Party Risk Management, Operational Resilience and Business Continuity activities.
• Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, risk assessments and remediation actions.
• Support contract reviews, renewals, amendments and supplier performance improvement plans.
• Work closely with Technology, Procurement, Risk, business stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier governance, processes and reporting.
• Use supplier management platforms such as Coupa and Hellios FSQS.

IT Vendor Relationship Manager | hybrid very flexible

We’re currently looking for an experienced IT Vendor Relationship Manager to join a growing team and play a key role in managing and strengthening relationships with third-party technology suppliers.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across Vendor Management, Supplier Management, Third-Party Risk, Procurement or Technology Governance, particularly within a regulated environment.

What we’re looking for

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience in Vendor/Supplier Management, Procurement, Third-Party Risk, Technology Governance or a similar area.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supporting the supplier lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of supplier risk and governance principles.
• Experience working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Exposure to audits, compliance reviews or operational governance.
• Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance or another regulated environment.
• Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
