Job summary

MPG Recruitment Limited in Dublin South West is seeking a Level 1 IT Engineer to join a growing MSP's busy support team. You will handle calls, log and resolve tickets, and troubleshoot Windows, M365 and Apple devices both onsite and remotely.

You will build and image laptops, manage devices/users with Intune and Azure/Entra ID, and keep clients updated with accurate documentation. On-site role with a supportive team and room for growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT support or helpdesk experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune.
• Experience building and deploying laptops.
• Comfortable on the phone and with a ticketing system.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

MPG Recruitment is working with a growing Managed Service Provider in Dublin South West. They’re hiring a Level 1 Engineer to join their busy support team.

The role

• Take support calls from business clients and log, manage and resolve tickets through the ticketing system


• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365 and Apple devices, onsite and remotely


• Build, image and deploy new laptops and desktops


• Manage devices and users with Intune, Azure / Entra ID and the Microsoft 365 admin centre


• Keep clients updated and documentation current

What you’ll need

• Min. 1+ year of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role (MSP experience is a bonus)


• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune


• Experience with laptop builds and device setup


• Comfortable on the phone and with a ticketing system


• Good communication and customer service skills


• A full driving licence is preferred but not essential
