Qualifications

• Has proven experience as a Chef, preferably within a hotel or busy breakfast operation.
• Has supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Can work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Able to lead by example and motivate a kitchen team.
• Flexible to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the breakfast kitchen team.
• Prepare and oversee high‑quality breakfast dishes.
• Ensure breakfast service runs smoothly, efficiently and on time.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control.
• Manage mise en place and prep for service.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and rotation.
• Minimise waste and maintain cost controls.
• Ensure HACCP, food safety and health & safety standards are followed.
• Keep kitchen clean, organised and professional.
• Train and motivate junior kitchen staff.
