Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa in Killarney invites applications for a part-time Breakfast Chef. You will take charge of the daily breakfast service and work with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes for guests in a luxury setting.

The role requires breakfast expertise, HACCP knowledge, and flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays within a five-star hotel overlooking the Lakes of Killarney.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie with strong breakfast experience.
• Strong knowledge of breakfast preparation, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, presentation, and quality.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the daily breakfast service.
• Prepare and present high-quality breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Manage breakfast food preparation, stock control, and ordering requirements.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards are maintained.
• Organise and lead the breakfast kitchen operation efficiently.
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure a smooth transition into lunch service.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
