Job summary

Castleknock Hotel in Dublin 15 is seeking a Duty Manager with strong guest service and team leadership skills. You will oversee daily hotel operations, use Opera and Micros systems, and manage rosters and forecasts to ensure high standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a DM role, be adaptable, and lead by example with a guest-first approach. Weekend and early/late shifts are required within a fast-paced, award-winning hotel team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a hotel DM or similar role.
• Ability to engage with the team to deliver a high standard of service.
• Excellent attention to detail & a high level of knowledge of Food & Beverage service
• The ability to adapt to change and work well under pressure
• Outgoing and friendly personality with a professional image
• Be committed to leading and mentoring the team
• Be flexible with working hours (weekends, early starts and late finishes)

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of all areas of the hotel.
• Lead and mentor the team to deliver excellent guest service.
• Manage rostering, forecasts and workflow to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with department heads to uphold standards and guest satisfaction.
• Support event delivery and hotel initiatives across all outlets.
