Job summary

Culligan Ireland is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair water treatment systems across multiple locations in Ireland. The role entails diagnosing faults, performing maintenance, and guiding customers on operation and upkeep.

You will operate Monday to Friday, with uncapped incentives, a pension scheme, and holiday entitlements. Training will be provided for systems and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as an engineer or plumber in field service.
• Knowledge of water treatment systems is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair water treatment systems, including filtration and softening.
• Diagnose and resolve basic equipment faults and performance issues.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on operation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Coordinate with internal teams for installations and maintenance.
• Carry out field visits across multiple locations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Job title: Field Service Engineer

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent - subject to 6 month probation

Location: Field Based - Multiple Locations, South East, Sligo, Tipperary, Wicklow

Salary: €42,432 per annum, paid monthly + annual tax free meal allowance and uncapped performance incentives. On-Target Earnings (OTE) of €50,000

As an Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in our commitment to excellence by maintaining, and repairing water treatment systems. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions, ensuring optimal functioning of our systems and maximum customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair water treatment systems, including filtration, softening, and purification systems.

• Diagnose and resolve basic equipment faults and performance issues.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and schedule installations, repairs, and maintenance.

• Some experience as an Engineer/Plumber, preferably in the field of water treatment.

• Technical knowledge of water treatment systems, including filtration, softening, and purification is preferable however, full training will be given.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Valid driver's license.
