Job summary

Culligan Ireland is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service residential water treatment systems across multiple locations. The role focuses on maintenance, fault diagnosis, and customer training to ensure reliable performance.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering or plumbing background and full training in Culligan’s systems, with a valid driver’s licence and a dedication to high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical background in engineering or plumbing with field experience preferred.
• Full training will be provided for water treatment systems.
• Valid driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of residential water treatment systems.
• Diagnose and resolve basic equipment faults and performance issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on operation and maintenance of systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Coordinate installations, repairs, and maintenance with internal teams.

Job title: Field Service Engineer

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent - subject to 6 month probation

Location: Field Based - Multiple Locations

Salary: €42,432 per annum, paid monthly + annual tax free meal allowance and uncapped performance incentives. On-Target Earnings (OTE) of €50,000

As an Service Technician, you will play a vital role in our commitment to excellence by maintaining, and repairing water treatment systems. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions, ensuring optimal functioning of our systems and maximum customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of residential water treatment systems
• Diagnose and resolve basic equipment faults and performance issues
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and schedule installations, repairs, and maintenance

Requirements

• Some experience as an Engineer/Plumber, preferably in the field of water treatment
• Technical knowledge of water treatment systems, including filtration, softening, and purification is preferable however, full training will be given
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license
