Job summary

SOTI is seeking an IT Operations Lead (EMEA) to steer day-to-day IT Operations across the region, ensuring reliable, secure IT services and strong user support. You will mentor the Service Desk, manage escalations, and collaborate with global teams to deliver strategic IT initiatives.

You will work with Microsoft infrastructure and modern IT ops technologies across multiple offices, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of IT operations experience supporting end users in a corporate setting.
• Previous Team Lead or IT Operations leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead support teams and manage technical projects.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server/Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, SSO, SCCM, and network basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT Operations and Service Desk activities across the EMEA region.
• Coordinate and prioritize workloads; ensure tickets are resolved within SLAs.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance support to Service Desk staff.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Drive service excellence, process improvements, and maintain IT operational standards and metrics.
• Manage hardware procurement, asset tracking, and vendor relationships across EMEA.
• Administer Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Azure, AD, and Windows environments.
• Oversee infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and optimization.
• Ensure security, data protection, and IT controls compliance.
• Plan and deliver IT projects and infrastructure initiatives.
• Collaborate with global IT teams (Canada, APAC) on regional objectives.
• Produce operational reports and identify automation opportunities.
• Ensure a consistent high-quality end-user experience across locations.
