Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is working with a Dublin-based commercial refreshment and wholesale supplier to hire an Inside Sales professional in their City Centre office, Monday to Friday. You will handle inbound calls, convert them to appointments with the Business Development Manager, and conduct outbound outreach to generate leads and book appointments.

You will build relationships by understanding client needs, develop product knowledge to explain features and pricing, and use a CRM to track

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in B2B sales or business development within an office environment.
• Experience selling a product (not just a service). Food or food-related products is a strong advantage.
• Experience using sales techniques to persuade customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly over the phone.

Responsibilities

• React to incoming calls and convert them into appointments with the Business Development Manager.
• Make outbound calls and send targeted emails to generate leads and book appointments.
• Build relationships by understanding customer needs and presenting products and solutions.
• Develop strong product knowledge to explain features, benefits and pricing confidently.
• Research market trends and attend networking events to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support campaigns and generate leads.
• Keep accurate prospect and activity records in the CRM.
• Work toward appointment targets and KPIs.
