Chase Doors is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contract management across Europe. You will lead negotiation, drafting and review of complex agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with European laws and company policies.

The role requires strong communication, risk management and the ability to work with engineering, sales and project teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, construction or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in contracts within the industry.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex contracts.
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of contract law, compliance and regulatory frameworks in Europe.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and contract management software.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contracts Manager to oversee the management, negotiation and administration of contracts across multiple projects within Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, minimizing risks, and fostering strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure contracts are aligned with the company’s objectives and legal standards, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Manage and track contract performance, ensuring all obligations are met in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national and European regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate potential contractual risks.
  • Work closely with internal departments including engineering, sales, finance, supply chain and project management, to ensure smooth contract execution and resolution of any issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Lead efforts to resolve any contractual issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status, risks, and compliance to senior management.
  • Maintain clear and accurate contract documentation and ensure easy access for relevant stakeholders.
  • Recommend improvements to contract processes and policies to enhance efficiency and manage risk.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience within industry.
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in an engineering, construction or related field.
  • Fluency in English is required: proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in negotiating & managing complex contracts.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong understanding of contract law, employment law, compliance and regulatory frameworks across Europe.
  • Able to effectively locate, communicate, and document information.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, contract management software, ability to navigate BIM & interprate technical drawings.
  • Able to learn Manufacturing/ERP system, and CAD Viewing programs.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as necessary.
  • Full Clean drivers license.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to handle high-pressure situations.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
