Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction or engineering contracts from start to finish. You will review, negotiate, and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality, and programme requirements.

You will lead risk management, budgeting, cost control, and forecasting, mentor project teams, and contribute to business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction, civil engineering, or mechanical/electrical contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project management principles, and commercial practices.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of contract administration, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.

Prepare and present progress reports, commercial updates, and project reviews to senior management.

Support procurement activities, including subcontractor selection and supplier management.

Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams to achieve project objectives.

Foster strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities.

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction, civil engineering, or mechanical/electrical contracting industry.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project management principles, and commercial practices.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent understanding of contract administration, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.

Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Full, valid driving licence.
