Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contracts Manager to oversee the management, negotiation and administration of contracts across multiple projects within Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, minimizing risks, and fostering strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contracts Manager to oversee the management, negotiation and administration of contracts across multiple projects within Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, minimizing risks, and fostering strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure contracts are aligned with the company’s objectives and legal standards, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Manage and track contract performance, ensuing all obligations are met in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national and European regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate potential contractual risks.
  • Work closely with internal departments including engineering, sales, finance, supply chain and project management, to ensure smooth contract execution and resolution of any issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Lead efforts to resolve any contractual issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status, risks, and compliance to senior management.
  • Maintain clear and accurate contract documentation and ensure easy access for relevant stakeholders.
  • Recommend improvements to contract processes and policies to enhance efficiency and manage risk.

Requirements
Education

Bachelor’s or associate degree in an engineering, construction or related field.

Experience

Minimum 5-7 years experience within industry. Proven experience in negotiating & managing complex contracts. Fluency in English is required: proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.

Knowledge

Strong understanding of contract law, employment law, compliance and regulatory frameworks across Europe. Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to handle high-pressure situations. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to manage priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Skills

Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Able to effectively locate, communicate, and document information. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, contract management software, ability to navigate BIM & interprate technical drawings. Able to learn Manufacturing/ERP system, and CAD Viewing programs. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

License

Full Clean drivers license.

Travel

Ability to travel to project sites as necessary.
