Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a large-scale data centre project in Germany. The role involves leading site delivery, coordinating the site team, subcontractors and design consultants, and reporting to the Project Director on site.

Candidates from Ireland or the UK with a track record on complex, fast-track construction programmes are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with main contractor data centre experience.
• Experience managing large-scale, technically demanding commercial or industrial builds.
• Willing to relocate/ work away in Germany for the duration of the project.
• Strong leadership, programme and subcontractor management track record.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall construction delivery on site, ensuring safety and programme adherence.
• Lead and coordinate site team, subcontractors and design consultants.
• Oversee programme, cost and quality control; escalate risks.
• Manage client, design team and subcontractor relationships; chair key meetings.
• Ensure CDM, Health & Safety and quality compliance throughout construction.
• Report progress, risk and commercial status to senior management and client.

Construction Project Manager Construction Project Manager required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a large-scale data centre project in Germany. Our client is specifically looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with proven data centre construction experience, comfortable working away from home on an international assignment managing site delivery on a large-scale, technically demanding build. Candidates from Ireland or the UK with a track record on complex, fast-track construction programmes are encouraged to apply. The successful Construction Project Manager will report to the Project Director on site.

Role

Manage overall construction delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget. Lead and coordinate the site team, subcontractors and design consultants across all phases of construction. Oversee programme, cost and quality control across the full build, escalating and resolving risks as they arise. Manage client, design team and subcontractor relationships, chairing key project meetings. Ensure compliance with CDM, Health and Safety, and quality requirements throughout construction. Report project progress, risk, and commercial status to senior management and the client.

Requirements
