Job summary

Bank of Ireland is seeking a Welcome Advisor to join our Shannon branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering friendly, professional service onsite and supporting both personal and business clients.

The role supports self-service options and maintains accurate customer records. The position is a 12-month contract, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, with an emphasis on excellent customer interactions and a willingness to learn new systems.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused welcome advisor with friendly, professional interactions.
• Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to Banking365.
• Onsite Shannon role with occasional travel to Clare.
• Prior banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service (including cashier duties where required)
• Guide customers through self-service banking options such as Banking 365
• Manage customer flow and ensure a smooth branch experience
• Update and maintain customer information on internal systems
• Handle basic queries and issues confidently and escalate when necessary
• Share customer insights to help improve service delivery
