Gourmet Food Parlour in Dun Laoghaire is seeking a hardworking Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop the team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of managerial hospitality experience, a strong grasp of KPIs, food hygiene and HACCP practices, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• 2 years' managerial experience in hospitality.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate restaurant operations on a daily basis.
• Oversee day-to-day financials of the restaurant.
• Ensure guest expectations are consistently surpassed.
• Manage stock levels and inventory control.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and rosters.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Enforce HACCP and cleaning standards throughout the venue.
• Supervise and develop team members.
• Promote the restaurant brand and guest experience.
• Liaise with the operations team daily.
• Coordinate with reservations department daily.
• Engage with key clients to ensure seamless reservations/events.

At Gourmet Food Parlour, we have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Manager to join our team in our Dun Laoghaire restaurant.

The ideal candidate should be skilled at handling interpersonal communications, managing teams, and creating an extremely positive experience for each customer. We’re looking for someone who's excited to come to work every day - who's ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.

Responsibilities And Duties Include

• Coordinating restaurant operations daily
• Managing the day-to-day financials on the restaurant
• Ensuring we surpass customers' expectations
• Managing stock levels
• Coordinating employee scheduling
• Monitoring compliance with regulations
• Monitors HACCP standards and cleaning standards
• Supervising and developing team members
• Promoting the restaurant brand
• Liaise with the operations team on a daily basis
• Liaise with our reservations department on a daily basis
• Liaise with our key clients, to ensure their reservations/events are seamless

Criteria to apply for the position:

• 2 years' experience in a managerial role in the Hospitality sector
• Has strong knowledge of working towards KPIs and managing a team
• Has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
