Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our on-site restaurant. The role focuses on leading a team, delivering excellent customer experiences and managing daily restaurant operations.

You will handle staffing, stock, KPI tracking, HACCP compliance, and liaise with reservations and operations to ensure seamless events and regular service. Fluent English is required and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a managerial role in the Hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of working towards KPIs and managing a team.
• Excellent knowledge of all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day financials on the restaurant.
• Ensure we surpass customers’ expectations.
• Manage stock levels.
• Monitor compliance with regulations and HACCP standards.
• Supervise and develop team members.

Responsibilities and Duties Include

• Managing the day-to-day financials on the restaurant
• Ensuring we surpass customers’ expectations
• Managing stock levels
• Monitoring compliance with regulations
• Monitors HACCP standards and cleaning standards
• Supervising and developing team members
• Promoting the restaurant brand
• Liaise with the operations team on a daily basis
• Liaise with our reservations department on a daily basis
• Liaise with our key clients, to ensure their reservations/events are seamless
• Interested in motivating teams & developing individual staff
• Displays leadership abilities
• Task-driven, with a focus on meeting core objectives
• Customer focused approach to management
• Ability to manage store operations independently
• Ability to manage multiple situations/tasks simultaneously
• Deep knowledge of customer service
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Problem-solver
• Concise & clear communicator
• Ability to learn and adapt to our company’s standards and procedures
• Holds strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Knowledge of the food service industry
