Job summary

ECS Resource Group in Ireland is seeking a Sales Director to lead strategic sales across Hyperscale accounts throughout EMEA. You will collaborate with regional and global teams to drive revenue, profitability and account growth within the Data Centre ecosystem.

You will build executive-level relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders, lead complex proposals and negotiate major deals, and shape strategic account plans with a commercial, outcome-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ professional sales experience within a relevant industry.
• 5+ years’ experience leading teams, programmes or strategic sales initiatives at a regional or national level.
• Proven experience developing and executing strategic sales plans and delivering against revenue and profitability targets.
• Proven experience selling Data Centre products and solutions.
• Experience working with large multinational or Hyperscale customers highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Data Centre market, competitive landscape and emerging industry trends.
• Proven ability to build and influence executive-level relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sales activity across key Hyperscale accounts across EMEA, driving revenue, profitability and account growth.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans in partnership with regional and global account teams.
• Build and maintain senior executive relationships across customers, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive early engagement across the AEC community to identify opportunities throughout the Data Centre project lifecycle.
• Sell a broad portfolio of Data Centre products and solutions, including structured cabling, electrical, networking, security, cooling and power.
• Position services across design, end-to-end project deployment, product enhancement and rack & roll.
• Lead complex sales opportunities, proposals, presentations and commercial negotiations.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key technology vendors and alliance partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity and emerging opportunities to support account growth.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates and strategic account progress to senior leadership.
