360 Search in Ireland is seeking a senior sales professional to lead new business development across the Dublin region, reporting to the head of sales. The role focuses on winning new commercial insurance business with a balance of 80% new business and 20% relationship management.
You will travel across the Dublin offices, build a strong pipeline through networking and events, and have the opportunity to progress into regional leadership as the function expands, with a tiered bonus and hybrid
Location: Dublin (flexible across the client’s Dublin offices, with regular travel across the region)
Salary: Six-figure basic salary plus a tiered performance bonus
Working pattern: Hybrid and flexible
Our client is a well-established commercial insurance brokerage with a national office network and a strong, recognisable brand in the Irish market. The business has grown quickly and continues to deliver close to double-digit growth year on year. It is now putting a more formal structure in place to support the next stage of that growth, including a move to a regional sales model.
The sales team is set to expand significantly over the next three to four years. This is an opportunity to join early and help shape how the function develops.
This is a senior, sales-focused appointment and reports directly into the head of sales. The successful candidate will take a lead role in growing new business across the Dublin region. Over time, they will also have the chance to manage that region as it develops.
The role is weighted around 80% new business and 20% relationship management. Relationship work will be limited to a small number of strategic accounts where the individual’s ongoing involvement is needed. Once new business is won, it is handed over to a dedicated support structure. This keeps the role focused on winning business rather than day-to-day servicing.
The sales team is supported by telemarketing, clerical support, marketing and bid management. The aim is to remove non-revenue-generating tasks so that salespeople can focus on winning business.
