Job summary

Responsibilities include purchasing, inventory control, cost monitoring, and staff training on wine knowledge and service standards. You will build strong relations with suppliers and coordinate with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager to elevate beverage strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing wine programs and wine lists.
• Ability to advise on wine pairings with menu items.
• Strong understanding of wine costs and profitability.
• Ability to train service staff on wine knowledge and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage wine selection, wine lists and pairings.
• Provide professional wine recommendations and guest service.
• Oversee wine purchasing, inventory, storage and stock control.
• Monitor wine costs, sales performance and profitability.
• Train and supervise service team on wine knowledge and standards.
• Build relationships with wine suppliers and distributors.
• Develop wine promotions to increase beverage sales.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager to enhance dining experience.
