Job summary

The Langham, Jakarta, part of Langham Hospitality Group, seeks a skilled wine professional to join its luxury hotel team. You will drive wine service standards, curate wine selections, and engage guests with expert recommendations.

With at least 2 years in a luxury hospitality setting and a passion for wine, you will lead wine operations, manage inventories, and mentor junior staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• WSET Level 2 certification or above.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hospitality hotel, preferably in a wine-related or Food & Beverage role.
• Intermediate English proficiency, with strong communication and guest engagement skills.
• Good knowledge of Old World and New World wines, with a strong passion for natural wines.
• Proficient in wine administration, inventory management, and record-keeping across multiple software platforms.
• Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to coach and guide outlet managers and teams.
• Excellent understanding of wine service standards, wine list curation, and wine recommendations in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Good commercial awareness of wine profitability, stock control, and guest satisfaction.
