Knalpot Restaurant in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara is seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress for a full-time role. You will be the face of the restaurant, delivering friendly service and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

You will greet guests, take orders, relay to kitchen and bar, serve meals, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness. Fluency in Indonesian and English plus teamwork and reliability are essential. Training and career development are available.

Qualifications

• Previous waiter/waitress experience in hospitality.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Fluent Indonesian and English; other languages a plus.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waiter/Waitress to join the team at Knalpot Restaurant in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest experiences outstanding customer service whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them at appropriate tables


• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements


• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff


• Delivering food and beverages to tables with care, ensuring orders are correct and presented professionally


• Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly


• Processing payments and handling transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system


• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, tables, and service stations at all times


• Clearing tables efficiently and resetting them for the next service


• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations during service


• Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations


• Handling guest queries and complaints with professionalism and discretion

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a restaurant or hospitality setting


• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences


• Strong communication abilities in Indonesian and English; additional languages are an advantage


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail


• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods whilst carrying trays and navigating the restaurant


• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette


• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic mathematical skills for handling payments


• Reliability, punctuality and a professional appearance


• Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues during busy service periods


• Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays


• A positive attitude, patience and the ability to handle pressure gracefully
