Job summary

PT. HITACHI SAKTI ENERGY INDONESIA seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to drive service sales strategy, develop proposals, and monitor tender progress. You will collect technical and cost data, prepare bids, and ensure compliance with policies and customer requirements.

The role requires expertise in transformer products and substations, plus strong collaboration with sales and supply chain teams. Fluency in English and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering or project control related to transformer products, power substation, LV, MV and HV switchgear.
Solid knowledge of substations within the electrical power market.
Experience in proposal estimation, tender management, and risk analysis.
Time management, presentation, and planning skills; ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) & Salesforce.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Good in English communication.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to Sales Managers during meetings and prepare proposals (technical and cost elements).
Identify potential vendors and evaluate supplier offers against specifications.
Ensure tenders are well documented with full and accurate costs and risks.
Participate in Risk Review procedures per Hitachi Energy policy.
Regularly report bid status and analyze reasons for wins/losses.
Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to coordinate subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
Prepare post order documentation and handover after sale.
Uphold Hitachi Energy's safety and integrity values.
