Job summary

Hitachi Energy Indonesia is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive and monitor the service sales strategy, develop contracts and project proposals based on customer requirements, budgets and timescales while ensuring they meet technical standards.

You will support Sales Managers in technical meetings, gather information to prepare bids (technical and commercial), identify suppliers, evaluate offers and ensure tender documentation is complete and costed.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years in Sales Engineering or project control roles related to transformer products and substations.
Solid knowledge of substations in the electrical power market.
Experience in proposal estimation, tender management and risk analysis.
Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Drive and monitor the service sales strategy and develop contracts and project proposals based on customer requirements, budgets and timelines while meeting technical standards.
Provide technical support in meetings, gather information to prepare bids (technical and commercial) and create complete bid documents.
Identify potential vendors and evaluate offers, collect and archive documentation, and document bid development decisions.
Ensure tenders are well documented with full costs, identify risks in bids, quotations, estimates and related contracts.
Regularly report bid status using defined tools and collaborate with Supply Chain Management for subcontractor coordination.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and prepare post-order documentation for handover.
