Job summary

PT. HITACHI SAKTI ENERGY INDONESIA is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive the service sales strategy for electrical substation projects, including transformer products and HV/LV equipment.

You will support Sales Managers in technical proposals, manage tender documents, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy standards while delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Sales Engineering or project control related to transformer products.
• Solid knowledge of substations within the electrical power market.
• Experience in proposal estimation, tender management, and risk analysis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive, implement, report and monitor progress of service sales strategy.
• Prepare technical and commercial bid documents and proposals.
• Identify vendors and evaluate supplier offers.
• Ensure tenders documented with costs, risks; participate in risk review.
• Report bid status and analyze win/loss reasons.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for subcontractor requests.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Prepare post-order documentation and handover.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy core values: safety and integrity.
