Job summary

PT Samudera Caraka Jasa in Surabaya is seeking a full-time Sales (Freight Forwarding) professional to develop and maintain key customer relationships and drive sales growth and profitability.

You will identify and pursue new opportunities, manage existing client relationships, and negotiate contracts while collaborating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of services. Travel as required for business development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential customers in export/import/domestic transportation services.
• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow the customer portfolio.
• Manage and strengthen existing client relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable business.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure efficient delivery of freight forwarding services.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to superiors.
