Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering or project control related to transformer products, power substation, LV, MV and HV switchgear.
• Solid knowledge of substations within the electrical power market.
• Experience in proposal estimation, tender management, and risk analysis.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Sales Managers during technical meetings and compile proposals including technical and cost elements.
• Identify potential vendors for equipment and services, evaluate offers and document assumptions and decisions.
• Ensure tenders are well documented with full costs and assess risks in bids and contracts.
• Support Risk Review procedures and coordinate inputs from related functions for quality compliance.
• Regularly report bid status and analyze reasons for losses or wins.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to coordinate subcontractor requests.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
• Prepare post-order documentation and handover to commercial processes.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy's values of safety and integrity.
