Job summary

PT. HITACHI SAKTI ENERGY INDONESIA is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to drive service sales strategy and tender development in Jakarta.

You will translate customer requirements into compelling technical and commercial offers, coordinating with engineering and sourcing to win new business. The role requires at least 5 years in sales engineering for transformer products and power systems, strong English communication, and proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; power systems knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in Sales Engineering or project control related to transformer products.
• Experience with substations, power distribution equipment and tender management.
• Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce; good English communication.
• Strong collaboration and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales Managers in technical meetings and bid preparation.
• Prepare technical and cost proposals aligned with customer specs.
• Identify vendors and evaluate offers to meet electrical standards.
• Document bids, manage risk analysis and post-order documentation.
