Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Industry Segment Sales professional to drive revenue growth within targeted industry segments by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals across Hitachi's solutions.

You will develop strategies, qualify opportunities, present proposals, negotiate terms, and collaborate with pre-sales, product, marketing, and service teams to deliver value and meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive sales experience within a defined industry segment.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently as required by the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to a designated industry segment.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned segment.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts.
• Conduct needs assessments and propose Hitachi solutions addressing customer requirements.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure deals and hit targets.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, product development, marketing, and customer service teams.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
• Represent Hitachi at industry events and conferences to generate leads.
