Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Industry Segment Sales professional to drive revenue growth within a designated industry by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in a designated industry segment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to a designated industry segment, aligning with Hitachi's overall business objectives.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned industry segment, including prospecting, lead generation, and market research.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers at target accounts.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer challenges and propose Hitachi solutions that address their specific requirements.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure profitable deals and achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience and solution delivery.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and regular updates on sales activities and progress.
• Represent Hitachi at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
