Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas within a designated industry (O&G, pulp & paper, mining, transportation).
• Fluent in English; excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to a designated industry segment, aligning with Hitachi's objectives.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned industry segment, including prospecting, lead generation, and market research.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at target accounts.
• Conduct needs assessments to understand customer challenges and propose Hitachi solutions accordingly.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospects.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure profitable deals and achieve targets.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, product development, marketing, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor industry trends and competition to identify opportunities and adapt strategies.
• Provide accurate forecasts, pipeline reports, and updates on activities and progress.
• Represent Hitachi at events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
