Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Industry Segment Sales professional to drive revenue growth and market share within a designated industry segment in Jakarta. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and close deals for Hitachi's portfolio of industrial solutions.

The role requires 5–7 years of progressive sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree, fluency in English, and strong negotiation, presentation, and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or Engineering.
• 5–7 years of progressive sales experience with quotas in the O&G, Pulp Paper, Mining, or transportation sectors.
• Strong understanding of industry challenges, trends, and business drivers.
• Excellent communication, presentations, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
• Travel frequently as required.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to an industry segment.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation.
• Cultivate relationships with decision-makers at target accounts.
• Conduct needs assessments and propose Hitachi solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to close deals.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, product, marketing, and customer service teams.
• Monitor industry trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
• Represent Hitachi at industry events to generate leads.
