About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Store Staff member to join our team at PT Deus Ex Machina Indonesia in our Uluwatu location in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining the smooth operation of our retail environment. As Store Staff, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our company's commitment to quality and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering product enquiries and assisting with purchases

Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing store environment, including regular stock rotation and display management

Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card payments responsibly

Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to management to ensure adequate product availability

Unpack, price and shelve merchandise according to store standards and guidelines

Assist with visual merchandising and promotional displays to maximise product visibility and sales

Support the implementation of store policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance

Build positive relationships with customers and contribute to a welcoming, professional shopping experience

Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily targets and store objectives

What we're looking for

Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a similar retail environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers

Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Reliability and punctuality with a genuine commitment to maintaining consistent work standards

Ability to work as part of a team whilst also demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving capabilities

Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting, bending and reaching

Flexibility to work shift patterns including weekends and public holidays as required by business needs

Basic numeracy skills and comfort with operating electronic point-of-sale systems

Fluency in Indonesian and English is highly desirable
