Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and sales management tools.
• Knowledge of the Indonesian market is desirable.
• Fluency in English and Indonesian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with existing and prospective wholesale and consignment partners across the region.
• Manage end-to-end consignment and wholesale processes, including placement, inventory, and order fulfilment.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and commercial agreements with partners.
• Monitor sales performance across accounts and identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate product distribution, logistics, and delivery to partners and locations.
• Prepare account reports and performance analytics for strategic decisions.
• Address partner concerns and resolve conflicts professionally and timely.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams on promotions and campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records of all wholesale transactions and communications.
• Identify new market opportunities and potential partners to expand the network.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Wholesale and Consignment Manager to join our team in Bali on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal position that will drive our wholesale and consignment operations, managing key relationships and ensuring the growth of our distribution network. You will play a strategic role in expanding our market presence, overseeing partner relationships, and delivering exceptional results that contribute to the overall success of PT Deus Ex Machina Indonesia. This role requires someone who can balance autonomy with collaboration, managing multiple accounts whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.

What you'll be doing

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective wholesale and consignment partners across the region

Managing the end-to-end consignment and wholesale process, including product placement, inventory management, and order fulfilment

Negotiating terms, pricing, and commercial agreements with partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes

Monitoring sales performance across all wholesale and consignment accounts, analysing trends and identifying opportunities for growth

Coordinating product distribution, logistics, and delivery to retail partners and consignment locations

Preparing comprehensive account reports and performance analytics to inform strategic decision-making

Addressing partner concerns and resolving conflicts in a professional and timely manner

Collaborating with marketing and product teams to develop joint promotional initiatives and campaigns

Maintaining accurate records of all wholesale and consignment transactions, agreements, and communications

Identifying new market opportunities and potential partners to expand the wholesale distribution network

What we're looking for

Proven experience in wholesale and consignment management or similar account and relationship management roles within the retail or lifestyle sector

Strong understanding of wholesale operations, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and sales performance metrics

Excellent negotiation and commercial acumen, with the ability to secure favourable terms whilst maintaining positive partner relationships

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritise effectively

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and maintaining long-term business relationships

Proficiency in data analysis and the use of sales management tools and software

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing documentation and contracts

Results-driven mentality with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets

Knowledge of the Indonesian market and regional retail landscape is highly desirable

Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred

Experience in the creative, lifestyle, or fashion industries would be advantageous
