Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia in Jakarta seeks an Executive Contract Manager – Telecom & ICT to lead complex, high-value contract negotiations across telecom, ICT, and data center projects.

You will act as the chief commercial negotiator, align terms with business objectives, manage CXO relationships, and translate outcomes into formal documents, strengthening contract governance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in commercial contract management, legal affairs, or contract negotiation for large-scale projects.
• Experience in Telecommunications, ICT, or technology infrastructure industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience handling complex contract disputes, claims, penalties, and contract modifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract negotiations for major telecommunications, ICT, and data center projects.
• Act as the primary commercial negotiator for high-value and strategically important sales contracts.
• Establish and maintain direct relationships with customer CXOs, including CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, and other senior decision-makers.
• Lead negotiations and resolution of contractual disputes, commercial claims, penalties, liquidated damages, scope changes, and other critical contractual matters.
• Translate complex commercial negotiation outcomes into formal contractual documents and ensure governance.
• Review and structure contractual terms to ensure commercial objectives, legal requirements, financial interests, and operational considerations are addressed.
• Identify contractual risks, non-standard terms, liability exposures, and potential fulfillment bottlenecks before contract execution.
• Ensure contract documentation complies with local laws, regulatory requirements, and internal contract governance standards.
• Support contract quality governance and risk management across the local business operation.
• Provide risk disclosures and recommend safeguards for complex or non-standard arrangements.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, legal, project delivery, procurement, and senior management on contract matters.
• Develop and deliver contract negotiation training for teams.
• Share best practices and lessons learned from major project negotiations, claims, and disputes.
• Drive continuous improvement of contract management processes and negotiation capabilities.
