Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in contract management, legal, commercial, or related roles.
Minimum 5 years of experience in contract review and analysis.
Minimum 3 years of experience in contract drafting.
Minimum 2 years of direct experience in contract negotiation.
Experience in the Telecommunications or ICT industry is strongly preferred; EPC or similar complex project-based industries is required.
Strong understanding of international trade rules, trade compliance, and import/export regulations.
Strong understanding of commercial and project finance fundamentals, including revenue recognition, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Demonstrated ability to identify contractual risks and draft appropriate risk mitigation provisions.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end contract activities, including review, drafting, revision, and negotiation for TELC projects.
Provide commercial and legal solutions to support sales transactions with protections.
Review and analyze contractual terms to identify risks.
Oversee contractual fulfillment and monitor milestones, obligations and delivery terms.
Manage sales authorization processes, risk disclosures, and internal approvals.
Identify and mitigate liabilities, penalties, warranties, trade compliance, cybersecurity and data privacy risks.
Develop and improve internal processes and controls related to contract risk management.
Establish contract quality initiatives and support improved terms and practices.
Analyze customer financial information and project models for revenue recognition and budgeting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve contractual issues throughout the lifecycle.
Support customer communications involving complex commercial matters.
