Job summary

PT RUBBER AND RUBBER TECH in Indonesia seeks a competent Export-Import specialist to ensure compliance with import/export regulations, manage customs-related audits, and coordinate with forwarders and internal teams. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge and English communication skills.

The ideal candidate will handle PIB/PEB documents, Lartas, and COO/SKA, while maintaining tight timelines and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check regulations, import restrictions and HS codes before import.
• Review shipment documents and PIB/INSW coordination with forwarder.
• Prepare shipping instructions, book logistics and monitor shipments to customers.
• Prepare cost structures and issue Certificates of Origin through government systems.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse, Accounting, and Forwarders.
• Monitor export-import regulations and respond to customs inquiries and summons.

Job description

Check regulations, import restrictions/prohibitions (Lartas), and HS Codes before the import process.

Review shipment documents (Invoice, Packing List, B/L or AWB, COO, Import Approval/PI) and the PIB, then coordinate with the forwarder.

Prepare Shipping Instructions, book trucking and vessel space, and monitor export shipments until they arrive at the customer.

Prepare Packing Lists and Shipping Marks, review the PEB, and calculate FOB for the Sales team.

Prepare cost structures/RVC and issue Certificates of Origin (SKA) through the Ministry of Trade system

Arrange cargo insurance, prepare DFAs for import duty, tax, and vendor invoice payments, and submit invoices to Finance

Manage the USDFS facility: USDFS and SPI quotas, periodic verifications, Voluntary Payments, and reporting

Prepare import realization reports and monthly import duty calculations, and report to the Surveyor and INSW

Monitor the latest export-import regulations, negotiate urgent shipments with forwarders, and attend summons from Customs, the Surveyor, or ministries.

Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse, Accounting, Suppliers, Forwarders, and related agencies

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1)

Minimum 3 years of experience in Export-Import, preferably in a manufacturing company.

Experienced in handling customs affairs, Customs audits, and Customs inspections within Bonded Zones (Bonded Logistics Hangars), with comprehensive knowledge of customs procedures, processes, and regulations.

Understanding of customs, trade, and industrial regulations, and keeps up with regulatory updates

Proficient in preparing and reviewing PIB and PEB documents

Experienced with CEISA, INSW, Import Approval (PI) processing, Lartas, and COO/SKA

Detail-oriented.

Able to communicate in English (written and verbal)

Communicative, with good attitude, and able to work under pressure and tight deadline

Added value: experience with the KITE facility, customs certification, and knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SMK3L.
