JAL Logistics Indonesia seeks a dedicated Customs Logistics Specialist to manage import regulations, clearance processes, and the preparation of essential documents. You will oversee invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, PIBs, origin certificates, and related paperwork to ensure compliant and smooth cargo movements.
The role requires a minimum D3/S1 with a Customs Officer Certificate and at least three years in import logistics or customs clearance.
This role involves managing customs regulations related to import, customs clearance processes, and handling customs documentation in accordance with applicable regulations. You will manage import and export documents including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, PIB, certificates of origin, and supporting documents. You will coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, trucking companies, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant government agencies to ensure smooth logistics processes. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to effectively handle obstacles in logistics, customs, and goods distribution.
Key responsibilities
Master customs regulations related to imports, customs clearance processes, and handle customs documentation according to applicable regulations
Manage import and export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, PIB, certificates of origin, and other supporting documents
Coordinate with suppliers including shipping companies, trucking companies, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant government agencies to ensure smooth logistics processes
Analyse and resolve problems, and effectively handle obstacles in logistics, customs, and goods distribution processes
About you
Minimum D3/S1 qualification with Customs Officer Certificate
Minimum 3 years of experience in import logistics, customs, or customs clearance
Comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes including import procedures, import-export documentation, Indonesian customs regulations, customs clearance, and import-export taxation
Proficient in English (spoken and written) & Mandarin preferred (not mandatory)
Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external parties
Background in Logistics, Export-Import, Management, or related fields is preferred
